The Pottery House Cafe serves freshly made sandwiches, salads, and hearty entrees on dishes created by our potters right next door. Cozy up in the wintertime near the crackling embers of our dining room’s original stone fireplace. In milder weather, you can dine on our patio next to our garden pond. Inhale the aromas of fresh-baked bread and pastries wafting from the in-house bakery and you’ll be tempted to take home a loaf.

The Pottery House Café’s menu items are made from scratch with quality local ingredients, in the spirit of Appalachia. Our famous breads are baked on-site daily, with grains straight from the mill. Have a slice of sourdough or onion-rye with the Baker’s Garden Salad. Or if you’re hungrier, try our shrimp and grits, or maybe a char-grilled burger topped with whiskey-bacon jam and cheddar on a spent-grain bun.

Be sure to save room for a slice of fresh-baked coconut cream pie or carrot cake! We’ll also sell you a whole pie or fresh-baked loaf of bread to take home.
